Well it all started when we were looking for a location for my family to live. I prayed and God had me connect with a beautiful lady from the church I attended. She gave me some information about a city sponsored program that helped families buy homes. My son and I went through the class and all the required steps. We even put a down payment on the home but it was sold to another couple without any notice in 2020. At that moment I was deeply hurt and couldn’t understand. I questioned God. My sons and I began reading the gospel of John in the morning and the evening. Then God spoke to me through his word in John 3:27 that says, “A man can receive nothing unless it is given to him from heaven.” I called Mark and he encouraged me to keep that verse in my heart.
It wasn’t easy. I cried for three days. My Bible was wet with tears. I asked God to remove any bitterness or envy from me. My sons continued praying for me.
I just said God whenever you are ready to bless us - your will be done.
Months later our prayers were answered. A friend identified a lot where we wanted to live. Faith-Full Homes offered to build our home at the price we were pre-approved at. God even put it on their heart to add an extra bedroom and bathroom!
On our part, we faithfully attended sessions offered through Renew Family Wealth. We began to budget, pay off all our debts, and raise our credit scores.
The Faith-Full Home’s team later blessed our family with a surprise home shower. We received lots of gifts for our new home and were so grateful to everyone that took part. There were some challenging moments and tough times but we overcame them with the Lord’s help.
We literally watched our home being built from the ground up. The neighbors helped, prayed, and cheered the Faith-Full Homes team on.
This neighborhood has changed so much since we moved in.
Now I’ve been asked to pray over and through the homes of several families in our community. I’m so honored, grateful and thankful, God is good.
I thank God and the Faith-Full Home’s team who made this dream a reality and delivered the 5 star experience we were promised.
Thank you all.

Delita's Testimony

I was living in this community for about 32 years, and there were some distressed homes on the street that had to be torn down. Some guys would come and park their vehicles for days and I would call the tow truck to come and tow them away.
Nevertheless this eventually stopped. I maintain most of the properties and yards here in this community.
In 2021 this community started being built up, with new homes and families.
Later that year a young lady (Delita) came to our neighborhood and parked right in front of my driveway. I told her to move, she pulled up at the lot next to my house, then she got out and introduced herself. I then learned that they planned to build a home there and be my next door neighbors.
I was very excited for them, and I helped out as best I could.
Faith-Full Homes completed their home in 2023.
Another builder (Ray Ransom) has since completed construction on several other homes in the neighborhood.
We love this community!
Testimonials
Rufus' Testimony

I was looking for an apartment for my grandchildren and I to live in - one that was affordable for me.
There was a friend of mine at my church who mentioned to me about an apartment close by, so I went to inquire about it and check out the area and the schools.
It was wooded with large trees and raccoons when we moved there in 2011, about 15 years ago.
A few years later, the area started to develop and homes were being built yearly, one of my family members even moved here with his wife and children.
I met Dee (Delita) and we connected right away and we created a strong bond. We are believers as well, I believe God connected us. Dee is a great neighbor, friend and a spiritual daughter to me. We have a lot of fun and laughter, and we go out for breakfast at least two Saturdays a month.
The neighborhood has developed even more with many of my family members - sisters, nieces, nephews, and even a new addition moving in. It is much more beautiful with all the new construction and friendly neighbors. I love my community, we are truly a big family.

Dr. Ray Ransom
A word of thanks to Dr. Ray Ransom
Even as Ray was almost single handedly building a home down the street from the Goodmans, he always managed to find time to help out me and Max. When, in the midst of Covid, we had no one to complete our architectural plans - Ray offered to do them for us; when we faced supply chain shortages - Ray told us where to go; when we had questions concerning permits and inspections Ray answered them.
When our tools broke down - Ray lent us his and asked for nothing in return.
I can't speak to Ray's faith, but his actions speak to what Jesus meant when He said, "Love your neighbor as yourself."
We are forever grateful for you Ray.

Danny Lopez
In the book of Exodus we read that the Lord gathered skilled artisans - everyone whose heart was stirred and whose spirit was willing. Not only that, but the Lord also filled them with heavenly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding so they could then complete the task of building the tabernacle.
There is no doubt in my heart that God sent Danny Lopez to help us in our time of need. He is a skilled carpenter, filled with the Spirit and wisdom that emanates from above. Despite an 8th grade education, Danny is one of the smartest men I have ever known. Danny, I know that Bill and Max share my thoughts and affection for you.

Mr. Rufus & Miss Carol
Before setting foot on the Goodman family’s building site, I heard stories about a guy who monitored all traffic coming into the neighborhood - that he treated unfamiliar folks as if they were foreign invaders.
I later learned that the gentleman’s name was Mr. Rufus and the Goodmans were soon to become his next door neighbors. What I didn’t know was that Mr. Rufus would become our greatest source of help and protection. This was a rough neighborhood, but nobody messed with Rufus; and he made it clear to all others that they were not to mess with us. It turns out he had built many homes over the years; and he didn’t hesitate to offer us advice - which I personally didn’t value until he always proved to be right. From start to finish, Rufus oversaw every step of the construction along with Max. I did as well - from across the street where I often pulled up a chair to join the neighbors who encouraged and cheered us on.
One day a particular neighbor caught my eye. She lived a few doors down and only came out before the sun shined too hot. I managed to catch her name, Miss Carol, but not much more; before long we were talking about Jesus. She has interceded for the neighborhood since the day she moved in - many years ago. She took a bad fall one day, so we later gifted her with an Ezekiel stick that she proudly grips to this day.
To this day she refers to me as Pastor Mark. I corrected her at first, but have since come to receive her greeting as an honor.
Rufus and Carol, I speak for the entire Faith-Full Homes team when I say it is an honor to be your friends.
God bless you,
Mark
